Final post

My semester was a bit chaotic because it was very short and there were a lot of things to do. I was running around doing all the activities because I am very bad at managing my time and in general I relax a lot (oops), but I definitely enjoyed it. I must say that I really enjoyed English 4 (even though it started at  8 am and having to get up early) because it allowed me to talk with many people and it was always very educational. The other subject that I really liked is one called "fundamentals of architecture" taught by Enrique Walker, that teacher spoke for 3 hours straight without boring me and the whole class was really interesting. This semester i had physiscs and i'm really bad at it. passing took a lot of effort but i managed it (In the first evaluation I got a 1.9). I haven't liked "taller 2" all semester because of how the teaching team works and I can't help but compare it to my class from the previous semester. In any case, I did well and I d

Someone Interesting that you follow on Social Media

Today I am going to talk about someone interesting that I follow on social media, I am going to talk about deyaivu (on Instagram) she is a Spanish woman who creates content about fashion on Instagram and Tiktok. This year when I entered FAU I saw that there were many people who dressed really well and had a lot of style, and I didn't feel like dressing badly, but I started looking for content related to clothing to improve my way of dressing and elevate my style.   In this search I discovered many influencers who are dedicated to this world and one of the most notable is deyaivu. She is a super charismatic person and she is constantly showing off new styles that one could try at her home. Sometimes she shows very expensive designer clothes and other times things that anyone could buy. Thanks to its content I have managed to understand a lot about the style that I like and be able to know what clothes to buy to achieve it. In general I don't have money to buy a lot of clot

Coffe shops

Some of the things I most enjoy doing outside are riding my bike, drinking coffee, and spending money. But if I have to choose one it would definitely be drinking coffee since it also involves spending money. I didn't like drinking coffee for a long time, but in 2022 I started working at a coffee shop during the year and I got the taste for it (I need it). That year, since I had money due to work, I started eating out with my friends from time to time, until I discovered the world of coffee shops. Throughout Santiago there are a lot of coffee shops with different themes, foods and prices. A hobby I have is going a few times a month to sit, drink coffee and relax for a while. It is more pleasant to be accompanied, but it is an activity that can easily be done alone. The atmosphere that the coffee shops have is ideal for talking, reading or simply eating something delicious. The seats, the smell and the products are things that I really enjoy and the best thing is that you can go

a chilean landmark

At the beginning of 2022 i went with my family on a trip to the   “carretera austral” in my uncle’s van, it was a looong 2 week trip by car from Santiago to Balmaceda, and one of the best places we visited was the national park quelat. the park is located in a remote and relatively untouched part of Chile in aysen región. Days before arriving at the park we had done a trekking on the chaiten volcano (othe most exhausting and terrible walk of my life) which left us without wanting to walk again, but this was a very special opportunity and we decided to go anyway. The trekking to the viewpoint where you can see a large waterfall along with the glacier is simply beatiful. A trip of 1 hour and a half between a beatiful nature and full of friendly people walking to the same destination. What makes Queulat National Park special is its relative remoteness and pristine condition. It's a place where you can immerse yourself in the unspoiled beauty of Patagonia and experience the raw pow

Futaleufu

At the beginning of 2022, my uncle bought a school transport and invited us on a trip through the "carretera autral". it was a trip with a large part of my family from Parral, which is where my uncle lives, to "the marbel cathedrals" in 2 weeks of loooong trip. We camped in a lot of places like Hornopiren, Chaiten and Puerto Aysen. but my favourite for far and the place where we stayed the longest was Futaleufu. it's a town that is very far from santiago (like 1400 km), know for its river with a lot of current where rafting is practiced and one of the best experiences of my life. It has a lot of places where you can do trekking and connect with nature, but rafting is the main activity since it is a sport full of adrenaline and completly new for many like me and my family. and it's important to say that the Futaleufu river is the best to do this activity in chile. the photo is of my family and me during the activity It's a little dangerous but facing the

My experience with English

Since i was little i started learing english at school. in the beginning they were more basic things like fruits, animals, colors, etc. more focused on vocabulary. When they started teaching more complicated things, i was left behind at the level that was expected. when i went to "primero medio" i was interested in the world of japanese manga but the spanish translations were always 10 chapters behind vs the english tranlation, so i started to reading in english with google tranlator. At some point i no longer needed to tranlate the words and i could read on my own. Since i had a good understanding of written english i started watching videos in english with subtitles to lear how to listen. i didn't undesand anything for a long time but little by little i learned. I currently watch videos in english ever day and my tiktok is half english, half spanish. It's still dificult to speak and express myself in the languaje but i just need more practice and learn more vocabula

A book

Imagen
At fist, when i read the encargo(?, i thought of a book i liked a lot called Sophie's world by Jostein Gaarder, but i dont think it's a read for everyone since it's literally very philosophical, so i'm gonna talk about a clasic called Perfume: the story of a murderer by Patrick Süskind. I don't know anything about the autor but the book its really good. at first i know the movie and i had seen it, but i didn't know about the existence of the book. Years later i had to read it at school and i was fascinated by how i was caught by a book that i didn't even want to read. Set in France in the 17th century? or something like that and or protagonist has a special sense of smell. his search in life is to create the best perfume but he is obsessed with a certain smell. I don´t know if i liked it because of the moment i read it since i was quite young or because of the  raw and obsessive of the story, but the way it's written catches the reader
